This week's walk will be lead by Dick Smallwood.  The walk this Wednesday will start at Eleanor Park at 10:00 a.m.  Meet on Center street near Channing.  There should be plenty of parking spaces on Center.  The walk will proceed generally along the previous walk that I led, but with quite a few changes.  We will walk around Eleanor Park and meander through a nice neighborhood walking toward the Children's Library.  Then a walk around the Community Center before heading toward Rinconada Park.  A nice walk through some paths there before heading up Embarcadero for the Walter Hayes neighborhood and its magnificent Camphor trees, but a different street than last time.  Should be about 2 miles.  Sorry, but no girl friends will be visited on this walk.

Getting to Eleanor Park:  Basically, find your way to Channing Avenue and drive to the park.  Channing can be reached off of Alma or Middlefield.  From 101 take the Embarcadero exit heading West.  Right at first traffic lite, left at first stop sign (Channing).  Call me at 650 814 5166 if you need help.

Village Walkers, a Village Members only group, take turns leading walks in local neighborhoods or areas of interest. A longer and shorter walk are usually planned for the route to accommodate differing needs.
