This should be a very interesting meeting for everyone. I hope you can take some time off from whatever you do to celebrate Valentine's Day to attend.

- We will start with a presentation from Duanni Hurd, who is the President and Co-Founder of Starlight Caregivers, one of the top-ranked Home Care Agencies on our Vendor Directory. She will describe her organization, the range of services they offer, and how Village members can evaluate whether Starlight would be a good fit for their particular needs. There will also be ample time for questions and comments. (This segment of the meeting will be recorded for future viewing, but much of the value in these sessions comes from the live interaction with attendees, so please try to attend in person.)

- For the second half of the meeting, we will hear from a new Village Member, Reggie Silbert, who was a geriatric social services professional for 20 years, before retiring in 2021. She got her Master's in Gerontology/Healthcare Administration in 2000 (at the age of 50) and subsequently worked for the American Society on Aging in San Francisco and for the Goldman Institute on Aging, where she was a site director for a new program for individuals with early stage dementia. Clearly Reggie has a wealth of experience in the area of geriatric healthcare, which she will share with us in an informal discussion.
