“Villages” are local grass-roots organizations focused on making it easier, safer, and more enjoyable for older adults to “age in place” in their own homes. Since the first Village was founded in Beacon Hill, (Boston) MA 20 years ago, the movement has grown to more than 300 community-based Villages with more than 40,000 members nationwide.
In recognition of this 20th Anniversary milestone,
February 15th has been designated as National Village Day.
If you would like to learn more about the Village Concept and how it can help you live better at home by providing a cost-effective, sustainable, and scalable solution for healthy, vibrant aging, please join our Webinar to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Beacon Hill Village and the 15th Anniversary of our own local Avenidas Village, which was the sixth Village in the country and the first Village in the Western United States.
