Navigating the tender terrain of aging has deepened my interest in how meditation supports this passage. Meditation is deeply personal, yet hugely beneficial to practice in community, alongside others doing the same. My hope is that we’ll show up with deep care and appreciation for the preciousness of life. Yes, meditation eases stress and brings calm, but underneath that, it’s about clearing space to turn toward the present moment and meet this life and one another with care.
Having practiced for many years, I know what it’s like to sit with the monkey mind and all its shenanigans. I trained with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, and facilitate sessions regularly at the Insight Meditation Center and on Zoom. Beyond teaching, I’m a mother, a hiker, dancer, and avid reader. This practice has changed my daily life: I listen better to myself and others, and my relationships have grown for it.
Whether you're new to meditation or have practiced for years, I hope you'll join our community. May this shared time become a gentle refuge... a place to slow down, settle in, and return to what matters most.
