Zoom Special Presentation
"Animal Behavior"
by Lee Richardson Zoo

Wednesday, August 12, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Animals are frequently looked on as “stupid” or “dumb”. While if you take time to observe their actions you might be surprised at how smart they really are. How can an animal’s actions tell us what it’s thinking or feeling? How would someone study animal behavior in a scientific setting? Discover the field of Animal Behavior and how research can help improve welfare for animals under the care of humans. We will also meet some special animal guests to help us explore animal behavior. The Lee Richardson Zoo's Distance Learning Studio offers a multitude of environmental programs to students all over the nation. Our programs include 2-4 live animals.
