The walk this week returns us to a familiar Palo Alto Barron Park starting point (GPS below).  The walk route is new and should be interesting. The weather is predicted to be mild. Pat & Tom Sanders are the walk leaders. Here's their message: 

          This week’s walk has options. 

1.      Walk over and back without stopping.

2.      Walk over, stop and have coffee or something to eat, and then walk back with the group or on your own.

We will meet at Bol Park by the native garden and walk over to The Hub at Hanover and Porter.  After a level, shaded walk, we will go up a bit of a hill (Walking sticks are good here! ) and pass some new office buildings and outdoor sculptures “Aperture 1” and “Aperture 2”  by Gordon Heuther.  Then we go downhill to THE HUB.   Here is where the options begin. You can stop at Coupa Cafe and have coffee or something to eat, you can play with logos, you can relax inside or outside and simply chat, or you can immediately turn around and retrace your steps back to Bol Park. 

One way or the other, hat and water please.

Village Walkers, a Village Members only group, take turns leading walks in local neighborhoods or areas of interest. A longer and shorter walk are usually planned for the route to accommodate differing needs.
