An Evening walk featuring Palo Alto's Christmas Tree Lane (2 block long Fulton Street) with our own Village Carolers inviting any of us who want to join in song as we pause now and then. That's what is ahead for us on this week's Wednesday walk in search of twinkling lights and decorated homes on the darkest night of the year. Meet in front of the Palo Alto Art Center, 1313 Newell Road right at the Rinconada library. Please arrive by 4:50 for announcements and our 5 PM start. Bring a small flashlight. Dress warmly. Song sheets will be available. This paved city walk will be somewhat slower-paced than usual. It will include Fulton St. and portions of residential Seale, Guinda and Newell.
Village Walkers, a Village Members only group, take turns leading walks in local neighborhoods or areas of interest. A longer and shorter walk are usually planned for the route to accommodate differing needs. Contact Ralph Cahn via call or text at (650) 245-0280 to be added to the Walkers email list, to receive descriptions and directions for each week's walk.
